So says Larry Roberts, one of the creators of packet switching. It all comes down to this: traffic on the Internet is increasing at a faster rate than the development of affordable routing.
“The cost of Internet capacity would therefore double every three years without some key new innovation. The economy could not support this for very long,” Roberts warns.

This video claims that “there’s no negotiating with the fella’s at the FCC.” Aside from the fact that not everybody at the Federal Communications Commission is a fella, is that really true? This story would suggest otherwise.
